K9diabetes Forum Rules

Because this forum focuses on the health and well-being of treasured family pets, we ask that you abide by the following rules whenever you participate in the K9diabetes forums.

At this time, you must register in order to post in the forum.

Perhaps the most important thing to remember when responding to a post is that every dog is different and will respond individually to various diets, medications, treatments, and medical conditions.

Please respect other members by refraining from "trashing" particular diets, insulin products, or other topics that are matters of opinion.

This forum is not a substitute for veterinary advice. The content on this site and in the messages of participants is provided for informational and educational purposes only and is not meant to be a substitute for the advice provided by a licensed veterinarian. Please consult with your veterinarian for specific advice concerning the medical condition or treatment of your pet and before administering any medication or pursuing any course of treatment that you may read about in this forum.

Discussion and respectful debate are welcome.

We will not tolerate rudeness, insults, personal attacks, or purposeless inflammatory posts.

Any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, or violate any laws will be removed from the forums, including offers to buy, sell, or exchange prescription medication.

Advertising, spamming, and trolling are not allowed. This includes the use of the Private Message System to spam other members. Members should report any abuse of the Private Message System to a Forum Administrator or Moderator.

While these rules cover most common problems, they cannot anticipate every situation. Consequently, we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure the forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.

The owner of the K9diabetes Forum reserves the right to remove, edit, move, or close any thread for any reason and to ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules.
___________

Finally, though this is not a rule, please remember that this forum is public and anything you post here can be viewed by anyone in the world (including, potentially, your veterinarian and other family members and friends). You are free to remain entirely anonymous while posting here or to share at whatever level is comfortable for you.
