It's an interesting site - they've created an interactive suite of pages about diabetes in pets, including a quiz

(I scored 100% :) and was pleased to see that one of the questions asked how long a diabetic dog will live and the correct answer was a normal life span!! )

I did not see that question on the life span in the survey I took. I will have to go back and look again.

OK I find that part - it was a quiz. I missed that one about 1 out of 500 dogs. I said 1 out of 5000. So I am wondering how many dogs are being euthanized. I know of four in my area and one is mine and the other is my sister's plus two more.
