PET FOOD INDUSTRY STANDARDS DOCKET # (FDA-2007-N-0442) Lead [-]

Regarding pet foods

Here are 2 links, I urge you to write, submit comment, so that the pet food companies hear us!!! The ingredients were never listed correctly as human foods, I want to know exactly whats in all the pet foods, the hidden chicken feet and all the other items they put in that is not stated on the labels, if you have time one of links will take you to the recalls etc.

I myself, blame the pet food industry for the diabetes, the cushings, the pancreatis and other diseases, these corporations are out to make profits, your pet gets sick, you go to the vet, the vet makes their profit, then the drug companies make a profit from the drugs the pets were prescribed, all at the expense of us pet owners. They have a great game going don't they?

I was surprised to see a Drs. Foster and Smith food on the list and they are Doctors?

Thanks to all

I've ordered from Foster's and Smith for several years. I have done so thinking their products were better. I was even going to order my lysodren from them because they were cheaper than anywhere I checked. I ended just getting it from the vet because it was a matter of convenience. I would be very disappointed to find out the Foster and Smith isn't the quality I have always thought they were.

I know what u mean Piggy, I get Dr F & S catalogs and look to see if they have diabetic foods, but I don't think there are any there, and if so I would not buy them now.

I think they really are overcharging there customers, but at first I used to get my Metacam from them which was cheaper than the vet, until I found out i could get it in tablet form at Walmart.

thanks for the reply :)
