Sometime last year, lots of places changed tie dates on which they switch from Daylight to Standard Time, and vice versa. Here's a useful web site:
http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/
If you are running Microsoft Windows, you can get a fabulous free utility that will keep your computer-clock on-time; it's here:
http://www.dualitysoft.com/dsclock/index.html
I guess you're in the U.S. - or maybe Canada? Eiher way, it used to be that we'd change from Daylight to Standard time on the last Sunday in October - and that might be what your computer is telling you! - so it thinks it's supposed to change the time - well, yesterday at 2 a.m.
But - last year, they changed that to the first Sunday in November!
Confusing, isn't it!
So, are you running Microsoft Windows, or do you have an Apple or Mac kind of computer? I can't help you with the latter.
But if you're running Windows, you might need to update your Windows, by going to Windows Update. I can't paste the URL from where I am, sorry! You could try Google - "Windows Update."
This page should help you find out what the correct setting is where you're located:
http://www.timeanddate.com/time/aboutdst.html
So there's a start for you - if you're running Windows - but the World Clock pages should help you out even if you have an Apple or a Mac.
If you have Windows, yell for more help!
Meantime, if your computer is an hour slow, then, yes, your computer re-set the time, believing it's still correct to change on the last Sunday in October! Maybe you could just leave it that way for the rest of the week, because the actual change comes on 2 November this year, at 2 a.m. - in most places in the U.S. and Canada, I think.
