Jasmine and Kahlua

Well my morning went crazy Every morning I give my 5 dogs milk bones. Well Jasmine( Pebbles sister) like to hoard her biscuits and eat them at her own leisure . Kahlua( the boxer) like to steal the biscuits from whoever didn't finish theirs. She has been stealing Jasmines biscuits for days Well this morning Jasmine had enough. I was pouring my 1st cup of coffee( yes the dogs and cats get fed first!!!) when there was a dog fight in my dining room. All"s I seen was Jasmine and Kahlua attached to each other I grabbed Kahlua and pulled her off of Jasmine Jasmine was biting her as well. Meanwhile I woke up the entire house Lovely! It was 5:45 am as I was yelling at them to quit. Jasmine ended having a puncture would right under her eye. Kahlua just missed her friggin eye. Can't help it I seen blood and thought Another VET BILL!!!! I cleaned Jasmines wound up Put some antibiotic that I had for a dogs eye. That didn't work because the other dogs think that they are the nurses. All of them have been licking her wound. My heart was beating so fast Adrenalin rush. SO tomorrow I will have to watch them better. It could of been worse. What a morning I had!! Thought I'd share this with ya'll

Marianne, I have been in the middle of some disputes over the years, and I never seem to handle it very well...usually just screaming, and of course, neither dog pays any attention to me. You are lucky if you can get them to listen to you when they are in the throes of territory wars....mine just keep right on truckin'. I never could see the pictures of Jasmine...where are they?

LOL I know it wasn't funny at the time I can just imagine you hollering and waking up the house and your adrenalin kicking in.:eek:

My ole little dog used to do this, I'd give out the treats and he would sit with his milkbone about 5 in. in front of him as to say to the others "I dare you to take this" he was a little dog about 12 lbs at most, and he did this in front of my husky and my lil toy terrier.

Him and the Husky never fought, it was the Husky (female) and the toy terrier (female who would get into it), my little guy would break it up as he was in charge.:rolleyes:
