Hi Bonnie!
I just read Crissy's story, much of which I didn't know before. I didn't realize her health problems started so young.
AND belated happy birthday to Crissy Ann!!
How wonderful to hear that she was able to make the road trip!! :) It looks to me like she had a good time!! That's quite an accomplishment for an older lady like her. Chris and I were out walking tonight and I swear a glacier passed us by....
I know you've been worried about the weight loss... I can't tell a thing through all that fur. ;) I'm just really happy to see that she looks so happy in that picture.

Johanna,
Crissy is a Samoyed. She's the fifth of the breed I've had over the last 30 some years. They have a wonderful temperment and they 'smile'.

Hi Bonnie!
I love those Northern breeds! They do "smile!" That is what attracted me to Malamutes and Huskies. I have had three Malamutes. They are big, stubborn, and so beautiful. Our husky is the first and only one we will have. She is the sweetest of the two. There isn't a mean bone in her body! When she was a puppy, we called her, "The Devil dog!" She destroyed everything! Now she is much more calm and only eats the faces off of stuffed animals if she's feeling ignored! Ha! I'm sure that both breeds have a similar temperament to Samoyeds.
It's nice to see you here!
Hugs,
Jeanne and Kiska
