    Thank you Carol for this great image of three different syringe sizes and their markings. The 1/2cc syringe holds up to 50 units of insulin and is marked in individual units.

    Thank you for this picture of different syringes, it has really helped me. I called Walmart and they are ordering the 0.5cc syringes. A box of Relion 100 syringes is 12.95. What a great price! When you need .5 increase this type of syring is going to make it so much easier for me to use. I never felt comfortable trying to eyeball it, since my eyes are not so great. Thanks again for all your research, I know how important everyone's time is and you have all gone above and beyond for all the K9's out there with diabeties.

      I use ReliOn's 0.3cc (up to 30 units) for Mildred, these do come with half unit marks on the barrel.

      Loretta, I'm not sure that the 0.5cc (up to 50u) come with these half unit marks...
