Can I use the same meter and strips for my dog as I use for myself? and how do I check the dogs levels. In other words "where do I collect the sample?"

You can use your own meter but some human meters give better results with dogs than others. The best so far we have found are OneTouch meters. Their chemical analysis seems to come closer to actual values for canine blood.
