Just did a 7 hr stretch reading of 87 bg gave her a little Kari to bring it up. Guess the insulin is working.

Still getting crazy readings today at 1:30 pm by 379 yesterday at 1:30 pm by 128, thank god today was her last antibiotic pill. See what happens Tom. Thank you for answer..

Thank you for the advice. My vet checks her bg about 7 hours after food and injection, this is what I have been doing. I know you all do curves but isn't that the best time for a correct reading?

I did Lola's bg at 3:30 pm today and it was high 315, yesterday at 2:30 pm it was 134 but yesterday morning I only gave her 3 units instead of 4 because she didn't eat all her breafast at dinner...

Thats it, I just tried taking another sample with my Free Style Lite kit and I am not getting a reading, I think it wants too much of a drop of blood, I don't want to stress Lola out to keep poking...

It is Free Style Lite, I fed and insulin at 7 am and just took a sample at 9:30 am and it was 207bg, I quess that would be 267 with Alpha. Also the gauge on the lancet has 1 - 4 and I used 3, taken...
