You can get 31 or 30 gauge needles which is pretty thin

Get the 30 unit with half unit markings . I dont think there will be any additional discomfort .

Yes a change with insulin may give you 2 a reset . The transition to NPH ( which is the next logical choice ) usually ends up the same amount of units as vetsulin but use a different type of syringe ...

Its possible . Jesse has actually needed a tad more insulin and her numbers are actually a bit more stable which allowed the larger dose

Its time for Jesses 6 month update

It is her 15 year birthday and she has been diabetic for over 9.5 years . She is doing well and still Jesse . She does have a bit of the old timers in a dulling...

2.5 units would be a normal starting dose for your dogs weight so 4 is not unusually high . Actually they say a dog doesnt...

Yeah its probably going to get expensive if you cant test at home . The problem for you is you really cant afford doing curves to get your dog regulated at the vet that leads to further problems from...

We all worry about our dogs . They still look like pups on the outside but on the inside they are getting tired . Sometimes their brain thinks they are still young . Not much different from humans ....
