Hope yuki feels better soon . It is a difficult time for everyone including our dogs . If numbers stay elevated you maybe able to add a fast acting insulin like r temporarily

Numbers in the 300s you should not see excessive urination caused by diabetes
So the urination is probably from something else like a urinary track infection .

Maybe the medication has over compensating for cushing . Judi ran into that problem and her pup almost crossed into being an addisons dog from what she wrote . So I guess that could be a sign of that...

Time for an update on Jesse . It is her 10 year sugarversary . At 15.5 she is a little old lady now . she is slower sometimes steps in her water dish and her bodily functions may not get her outside...

Deb gave some great advice . Food normally has to be balanced and that includes carbs so insulin has some immediate sugar to work with as deb suggested without it you get big...

There has been a few times when Jesse lost her appetite . I would adjust her dose accordingly . I have been giving her insulin without food for one dose for almost 10 years so I have no problem doing...
