Check out this supplement. My vet recommended it when our chihuahua had a high enzyme. Turns out the high enzyme was partially caused by gum disease.

High enzymes I think don't necessarily always...

Did your vet do a physical exam of the spine and legs, to see if any spot produced pain?

My dog just slightly injured himself, where he couldn't jump up on the couch or go up stairs easily. My vet...

I read 8 or 9 articles on sudden aggression, and all of them said pain is usually the first thing that causes this.
There are other causes, but that sounds like the first thing to assess.

Even a good liver supplement with milk thistle may help. My vet gave me some one time when Riley's liver enzymes were a tad high, and a few weeks later they were normal.
Maybe the supplement wasn't...

11 units for a 23 lb dog is a lot. And based on one test 4 hours after eating? Scary.
A starting dose for a 23 lb dog should be about 4.5 - 5.0 units.
