There's typically only a very small difference in units of insulin dose between Vetsulin and Novolin N. I would drop a couple of units only from the 15 you were giving, especially since the blood...

Finally got fed up after getting 30-50 new registrations a day and changed the human verification system. Eventually, they will figure it out, but for now I have vanquished them. :)

Brief lockout of new member registrations

We have been getting about 20-30 spam registrations an hour for the past 24 hours so through tonight I am turning off the ability to register. Hoping that we will drop off their radar.

Cataracts wouldn’t happen again because they are in the lens, but other problems can occur.

Hope the meds help! Seizures can be “just” epilepsy but can also be caused by brain tumors, reactions to meds, etc. hoping for good news for him! I know it’s scary and stressful for all.

The vet should be able to easily determine whether there’s a vestibular problem or something like cognitive disease or pain (our nondiabetic dog has circled in one direction when his back hurt)....

It's important to understand that diabetes-induced cataracts are a literal destruction of the lens structure. So once that occurs, the only fix is surgery to remove them. Drops can't put the lens...

I'm not surprised you hit some low blood sugar - that's an awfully large dose for a rat terrier - I would say too large unless she was a really big terrier. AND those increase were far too rapid....
