I'm with you Yunhee. I know what this feels like, as so many others do, and I am so sorry for your loss. Audrey was lucky to have you and you her. I'm happy you had each other so long.

Try baby food - puréed peas and chicken. (they sell them separately) It can be syringe fed and goes down easily.

Yunhee, in addition to feeling with our whole hearts how much we love our animals we also have to be practical in how we deal with them, and I totally get where you're coming from. I had my moments...

I agree. It's not fun to have an aging pet population. We have a family dog who was elderly, and she was the first to pass this summer. Then my old cat. Now my younger cat. It's very hard.

20 is very old for a cat. I had a 21 yr old cat who had similar symptoms for a while. Their kidneys just start to give out. For our old cat the symptoms were lots of water consumption and...

With regard to Audrey, I don't think you could be too rash at this stage. But I think waiting till Friday is good so you have time with Audrey.

I totally understand. I think it's great that your vet will come to you. We did that with my mom's dog earlier in the summer.

I'm also taking time to be with my pet. Luckily, I can work from...

What about one of those reusable ice packs you can buy at the drug store. If you get one, you can put it out under some towels (they can be pretty intensely cold) and see if she wants to lie on it. ...

I feel the exact same way.


BTW, I give her a little at a time, and store the rest in a jar in the fridge and heat it a little in the microwave before serving it. Hope she thinks its a great...

As we are both dealing with ill cats, I wanted to let you know about a product I found at PetCo. Cat Milk. I've always heard that our dairy isn't really all the good for cats, as much as they like...
