I have to concur with Jesse Girl, more likely issues with either a particular individual insulin vial or just those normal bumps in the road that come with treating canine diabetes.

For what it's worth, with Mildred's 7 1/2 year journey with diabetes her insulin needs increased over time.
Her Vet did suggest that it is often the case with long term diabetics.

Are you not feeding her a consistent/well balanced diet?

Be sure to check the sugar level to make sure it is rising and not continuing to drop.

With a low end 68 I would be giving mine a snack to bring the sugar level up and with retesting in about 30 minutes to make sure it is trending up.

Personally I would be very leery of point adding or subtracting with the numbers seen by any in-use meter.
That could present a danger, in my opinion as it is my experience that the points can vary...

I would much prefer a mountain shaped curve as well. With seeing the lowest levels being the fastings it would be easier to make insulin adjustments as well as safer without the worry of dropping too...

The one thing that really jumps out for me are the carrots...many diabetic dogs will see an increase in the sugar levels with carrots, some are not affected.
