If mochi still has an inflamed pancreas there will still be pain and that includes when eating . Less appetite may point to more pain but its hard to say . It could also be psychological remembering...

That usually occurs with high blood sugar but if your managing blood sugar with a reduced does of insulin that should not be a problem . The concern is the pancreatitis which can be life threatening

Thats not true . A diabetic dog can take insulin (reduced amount )without food . My jesse has done it for over 10 years and probably that has been the problem continuing to feed with an inflamed...

Yes similar problem with jesse . The vet suggested we stop giving insulin for a week maybe 10 year ago thinking the diabetes was a misdiagnosis . I did 3 days and there was some movement lower but...

Jesse's eyesight and even her hearing has declined as she got older . She does not have diabetic cataracts but its just part of getting older as things wear out .
