I would strongly encourage you to start the cushings meds. I bet it works. Jenny lived for 3 1/2 years with both diseases. hang in there, Lulu CAN feel better.

when my cushings dog got her cortisol under control, her dose of novolin went from 7 units twice a day to 3.5 - 4 units twice a day. totally possible and good you caught it!

When I first joined this forum we had a member who would hand out patience awards. There isnít a quick fix. You adjust insulin, wait at least a week for the dogís body to adjust, test, do it again....
