I can use the Internet Archives to try to get hold of some of the informational threads on the Cushing's Board and post them here if that would be helpful.

The bad news is that there are only 2 home pages there--the good news is that Google has a lot of various cached pages. Their last crawl was April 2 for some.

What I'll start doing here is to post the Google cached thread links so you can view them as Google saved them. When I get enough of them, I'll try to put them in some type of order.

I have copies of the important information in Word format, I will convert these to PDF and post here if the cc.net site continues to be down.

I'm getting a '403 Forbidden' Error message if I click on any of those links:

            Re: Internet Archives

FWIW, I am able to use the links. I get the type of message you're getting if I work too long at Google Books. When that happens, I take a break from Google Books for a while and go back--it works then and I can go back to them.

              Hi Kathy,

I tried them this morning & this afternoon and both times they had the same error for me. I don't need them, but I was just checking them out because they all have cc.net within the link. But I'm an idiot with this stuff - I don't know what you mean by Google "Books" and I'm gonna have to look up what FWIW stands for.

              -Susy

Okay, now I know what FWIW stands for (I only found out what LOL stood for was about 2-1/2 years ago!!!)

Google has a site where you can read all or part of books and magazines--that's Google Books. Sometimes when you "read" a little too much, you get cut off with the "suspicious spammer" message--at least it happens to me regularly.

Susy, could it be some sort of firewall or other defense on your system that is triggering the error?

That photo was about a year ago, bliss personified.

                    Hi Susy,

You sound like me with this computer stuff! Even after I got one and started learning how to use it, I was terrified of the web. When in college, I would have one of the youngsters do my online research in exchange for typing, proof-reading, etc. They thought it was really funny helping the "old lady who's scared of the internet"! Everyone kept setting up emails for me but I never even connected to the web much less looked. I wonder if they are still out there?! The first time someone put ROFL (rolling on floor laughing) in a message, I thought they were talking about someone named Ralph and just mispelled it, or they were talking about puking!

                    Glad you made it here!
                    Hugs,

It doesn't look like there is anything more than the first page of any thread cached - or am I missing something?

                            A,

I searched and first found the name of the original thread, which in this instance was Zoe's Story (treatment with trilostane). Then I typed in caninecushings + Zoe's Story (treatment with trilostane). There will be "another" link somewhere to search for similar findings which were omitted from the original search. This one bring up lots of pages, not only for Zoe but for many others.

Some pages are cached and some are not and nothing is in order. There are several missing pages and gaps. So far I have found 84 different links/pages to Sue/Zoe's thread from 4-10-06 to 3-01-09.

I just saw this note of yours, Louise. OK, so I tried the what you said - thinking maybe I'd try to save Zoe's entire story - or what there was left of it. I typed in what you said, and the first two hits were obviously about my Zoe. I then figured out I have to click on "cached" - but then I can only get to one pg. (pg 3). Is there a quick way to get all the pages that are cached. Because if I click on the other page numbers at the bottom of that page 3, I'm tossed back to the stupid search portal thing. I sure would like to save Zoe's story for my own reference, since I stopped keeping a journal ages ago. THat 84 pages is probably about half of Zoe's saga.....Thanks. Sue/Zo
