Default Re: Introducing Luna

Me and jesse met a a dog on our travels that had a similar situation . Vet said it was time to let go but they turned to chiropractic care and water exercises and Molly came back to normal

I think you do have to determine if its really pain . Difficult walking does not mean that exclusively . Leg weakness is different from leg injury .

Without a true diagnosis the vet is just drawing at straws and goes for the easy solution with pain killers and if they are not helping that may show its not pain

Some have used methyl b-12 for rear leg weakness and they said it helped . hope luna gets better
Jesse-26 lbs - 15.5 years old - 10 years diabetic - one meal a day homemade and a vitabone snack - 3 shots of Novolin a day sometimes Novolog or r as a correction to higher sugar but that is rare. total insulin for a 24 hour period is between 8 and 10 units of NPH insulin depending on her fasting number
