Weight loss in controlled diabetes Westie

My 10 year old Westie has had diabetes for 3 months and we are very lucky that it is already under control. The problem is she is still loosing weight. The vet is now going to do a scan that's costing £300 to see if anything else is going on. As anyone else had this problem?

Welcome to the forum.
Could you post some additional information. What is her starting, current, and desired weight? What insulin, and dosage? Any recent blood glucose readings? Any other medical conditions or information that you would like to share.
