Ok you techno wizards.. I was able to recover Haleys mini load thread in its entirety. Her original thread has 11 pages and I could only get the first page to show cache.
How do I (and others) get the other pages? I keep googling and getting the same results. I feel like an idiot. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I think I just got lucky tonight --- with Zoe's thread I mean!
![]() I used the name of the thread for a search on google "Zoe's story (treatment with trilostane)" and then clicked where it said "more results from caninecushings.net" or something liuke that. And then when that result came up I kept kept clicking until I got to the very last search result page, where it offers you the option of redoing the search and including previously omitted results ... I clicked on that and that last link cam up, which gave me another big bunch of pages with that search term in it ... and a bunch of the results are actually from other members' threads. I'm not a techno wizard by a long shot ... just got lucky tonight I think. |

I'm sooooooo tired! But I think there may be more of Zoe's thread here (incl more of the first pages where the title was Zoe's troubles with Trilostane):
http://www.google.ca/search?q=site:w...hl=en&filter=0 Go there and keep clicking on the page numbers at the bottom to keep finding more cached pages Last edited by acushdogsmom; 04-16-2009 at 09:25 PM. |

![]() http://www.google.ca/search?q=site:c...hl=en&filter=0 Your original thread was called "New, Overwhelmed and Frightened (Haley)" The link above should help you to find most or all of that thread (quick glance: I see at least pages 1,3,4,6 and 11 -- all cached) Last edited by acushdogsmom; 04-17-2009 at 04:54 PM. |

It might help some people to go to Google Advanced Search,
1) If you know the exact title of your thread and have never changed it: after "Find web pages that have...this exact wording or phrase:" - fill in the exact title of the thread or If your thread’s title has changed over the course of your thread: after "Find web pages that have... all these words:" – I would fill in any words that may be common throughout title changes, such as (maybe) your pup’s name. 2) After "Need more tools? Search within a site or domain:" - fill in www.caninecushings.net Here's a sample: http://www.google.com/advanced_searc...310&as_qdr=all 3) Then click on the “Advanced Search” button NOTES: - If you see the following text at the bottom, go ahead and click on “repeat the search with omitted results included” (because I think some of the cached versions get omitted): "In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 1 already displayed. If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included." - If you have more than one cached file for a particular page, look at all of them. Some might have more posts (cached at different times). - I have been making pdf’s of the files because I’ve found that sometimes I can’t access the cached file later (with the same link) – I don’t know why, this is all new to me. If you can’t make a pdf, I would print it. -Susy Last edited by Wylie's Mom; 04-20-2009 at 04:49 PM. Reason: more suggestions |
