Jesse only had it once with her onset of diabetes . I did switch jesse to a homemade diet not sure if it helped

Yes i did hear of the new approach to actually feeding some food instead of withholding it for 3 to 5 days and be on IV fluids as jesse received 8 years ago

Glad this method has seemed to work but remember it takes time for the pancreas to heal

Jesse-26 lbs - 16.5 years old ,11 years diabetic, one meal a day homemade and a vitabone snack . 3 shots of Novolin( under the Relion name ) a day . Total insulin for a 24 hour period is 6.5 units of NPH insulin .
