its so perplexing with these beautiful spirits how sometimes they pass so sudden

one day fine the next a different story . i think thats the hard part

brownie sounds like she had a wonderful life. you can tell by how much she was cared for

Jesse-26 lbs - 15.5 years old - 10 years diabetic - one meal a day homemade and a vitabone snack - 3 shots of Novolin a day sometimes Novolog or r as a correction to higher sugar but that is rare. total insulin for a 24 hour period is between 8 and 10 units of NPH insulin depending on her fasting number

OUR HEARTS HURT FOR YOU It seems that once we have lost our precious babies, we can never shake the pain and feel it for every dog that we hear leaves us. I know that you are hurting. I go to bed and try to sleep it off.... for awhile at least. I feel awful..and wish you some peace. For we all know Brownie is now doing just fine!!!!!

Mel: My monster is Vinny! He's a black lab, diagnosed with diabetes June 21, 2013. His birthdate was celebrated the last weekend of May. He left this world on July 27, 2018, he was 12 years old.

Daisy 11 1/2 y/o 20lb Mini Schnauzer - 115g chicken breast, 45g chana dal, 55g green beans all chopped in a food processor, 20g Hills Perfect Weight, 1 tbs pumpkin, 5.5 units Novolin N q12h. Other meds-1/4t d-mannose twice daily, 1 Proviable DC daily, 1 multivitamin, 1/4t ground eggshells each meal, 1200mcg methyl B12 daily, 5mg zyrtec daily
