          Well, Sugar gave me a wonderful Christmas present. I was upstairs getting dressed and I guess I hadn't blocked the stairs, thinking the dogs would stay downstairs for a few minutes. I walked out of my bathroom and there was Sugar! He had climbed the 17 steps all by himself. So, we've vacated the couch and are back to sleeping in a bed. He is almost reckless going down the stairs. I try to get in front of him to slow him and catch him if he falls.

          He had his staples removed yesterday and Dr. Evans said it was a beautiful incision, healed perfectly, with no sign of fluid build-up. His kidney problem has cleared with him taking Baytril. So, Sugar is doing really well.

                  Wow Bonnie....just saw this thread now....what a journey you two have been on! Glad to see the pics of Sugar and how well he's doing. Hope all continues to progress smoothly....

                      What wonderful pics of Sugar! He is adorable and really looks healthy and like he is doing well. Glad he is bouncing back...lots of continuing prayers for good health in the future!
