Re: Dog diagnosed 1/30... Need advice/help!
So I’m obviously early days and working to get Lucy under control, but I took a few random tests today and these numbers. Can anyone explain how a 10 minute walk can drop her numbers almost 200 pts!?! I actually took her for a walk because I tested her and she was so high. Was expecting a 50 pt drop, not 175. That scares me because how do you ever get something like that under control in a manageable/safe range all the time?
5:44a (wake up) 482
6:30-6:44 eats and insulin
8:40a 309
12:30p 285
6p 640!
Emergency 10 min walk to try to get number down (her hind legs are weak so we keep it short, but she did see a cat at the end that made her a little crazy)
6:15p to see what walk did and it’s at 466
