It's been awhile and I'm trying to catch up here. We've just driven from Utah to Texas in a motorhome, a five-day trip, and Jeb has done great. It's our third cross-country trip since he's had diabetes. The first time was soon after he was diagnosed, I wasn't testing yet, didn't know much of anything, and he dropped so low he had a seizure. We had to basically start over with regulation. Then last year we came in a car, the vet suggested dropping him two units, I think, and he went really high. This time I dropped him half a unit, gave him extra snacks, tested a lot, and he stayed in the 200's. So I'm really happy. We got here Saturday, have gone for long walks the past two mornings, and it seems like he remembers the places we went last year. I'm going to get back to reading now and try to catch up with all of you. I want to welcome all the new people and tell you you've found a wonderful place.

Thanks, everybody. He's still doing well. In fact, he's doing even better here. He has arthritis and has quit going up and down stairs at home, even with rimadyl. But in here in Texas, he's going up and down the stairs of my son's house every time I do. Maybe humidity is good for joints.
