I ran across a beautiful quote today by Dr. Seuss - "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened". I don't think there's anything wrong with crying, but I understand what he was saying.

I went to visit Spirit today, and boy is Spirit ever the perfect name for her. She is one feisty little girl!!!! I brought her some toys, and she loved them. I even found an extra small kong that is literally the size of my thumb. I took more pictures but they're still too big to upload. Gotta figure out how to compress them somehow.

What happy news! Shelties are beautiful. When will you be able to take her home?

I'm not bringing her home until the end of September, because I have a 2 week vacation coming up. But she'll still only be 10 weeks old when I bring her home.

As excited as I am about Spirit, I still miss Sparky Love so much. I wonder what color his wings are, and whether he likes being able to fly. It occurred to me yesterday while I was flying in the plane that it was the closest thing to touching Sparky that I will ever get again.
