I'm so so sorry Dolly. There are no words I know, but you have an angel at your side always to take care of you as you did Niki. No one was as dedicated. Cherish the memories.
Forbin, miss you every day. See you at the bridge Buddy.
Dolly - I know how hard you've struggled with Niki, and I'm so sorry that it was time for Niki. It's hard to let them go when it's all we do for so long but care for them.
Please know this - I'M HAPPY THAT NIKI HAD A GREAT LIFE. I'll bet Niki said thank you a million times to you Dolly.
Your connection to Niki was and will always be a beautiful thing!
Please don't stop posting here Dolly - I would miss you if you did. I know that sounds selfish, but so many people here have benefited from your relationship with Niki.
Dolly, I'm so saddened to hear about Niki's passing. You two had such a beautiful connection and bond, I can only imagine how heart broken you feel right now. You are an amazing mom Dolly and this 8 year journey you've been on with her has touched many people and changed the lives of many dogs. Praying for you and the days ahead...
Hugs and Blessings, Carla
Dolly,
I am so very sorry to hear about Niki's passing. I know what a wonderful companion she was and the struggle she endured. We do everything we can, until our companions just can't do it anymore. I know how much you did for Niki and no one could have done more. I am saddened by this news, and I am happy that Niki had you in her life and she in yours.
My deepest condolences,
Kevin

Oh Dolly.... I'm so terribly sorry to learn of Niki's passing. She's been an institution for me through six years of canine diabetes forums and she lived with diabetes for so much of her life. She was and will always be a wonderful example of what life for a diabetic dog can be with a devoted human there to provide great management.
