  • ReliOn Syringes

These are found at Wal-Mart and Sam's Club, just as the ReliOn Novolin insulins are.

ReliOn® now offers three needle gauge options:

    29 gauge
    30 gauge
    31 gauge

All 3 needle gauges are available in 3 different sizes (1cc, 1/2cc, and 3/10cc). These options make it easy for you to dose your insulin accurately and precisely.

What does the gauge number (and other size numbers) mean?
The higher the gauge number, the thinner the needle. Gauge numbers for insulin syringes are 27 to 31. We have 29, 30 and 31 gauge in our line. The length of the 29 gauge needle is ½ inch. The 30 gauge and 31 gauge needles are shorter, measuring 5/16 inch. Use 3/10cc syringes for up to 30 units of insulin, 1/2 cc syringes for up to 50 units and 1cc syringes for up to 100 units.

    ReliOn® Syringes - $12.58 (per 100ct box)

Nice to know that you can get the same types as BD sells with a W-M price tag!

I just got the newer ones today, they look a bit fatter, and have a cap on the end of the plunger that you take off, the box is smaller also and they now are packed by 10 in plastic bags in the box of 100.
