my condolences. The hardest part of being on this forum is reading all the sad stories dealing with diabetes. Hope you guys heal..

I think it is harder when it is so sudden. He must have had something else going on and I'm glad he is no longer suffering. big hugs to you guys. He looks like a sweetheart in your avatar.

So sorry for the loss of your Alex, how loved he was that you were able yo let him go. This forum helps us teach each other not only how to care for our fur babies but also how to let them go :-(.

i am so sorry for your loss no words can even help you right but I my self just did this but this forum has been my lifeline alone with my family...we are all here for you and know the pain you are in..just know your alex is now running free with all our babies that have crossed the bridge...(hugs)

sherryandfred.. in memory of fred he was a rat terrier that lived life with diabetes for 4 years and being blind for most of his life..he finally crossed the bridge on april 2, 2014 and will be missed greatly...

My handsome boy is Colt. He's a 4 yr old 98 pound Husky Pyrenees mix. He was diagnosed on 2/14/14 and is currently on Novolin-N twice a day with meals and still working to find the ideal dosage and levels.
