Re: Humulin vs. Novolin N causing lows - anyone else?

Interestingly, a few weeks ago, when I had Sparky's numbers taking a nose dive, I spoke to the vet and he said that other "patients" were having similar problems with Humulin N. Hmmmm.......
    Carrol

I am having good results with a return to novolin-n. See Taylor's thread for curve data. Pat

This thread has a few accounts of problems people had making the switch. Not common but there were some reports.

            Hi there.

Is Novolin N still available at Walmart?

I am on my last one and am afraid to change to Humulin N when reading people having problems with changing.

I have it on hand humulin N, how did everyone change?

Dose to dose with q 2 hour sugar checks? For how many days? I know it takes 5 days to see a difference correct?

            Please help! Thanks!
