    Maggie went down in dosage about a half unit with novolin but she is pretty tight on her numbers. I am very happy with novolin - Her numbers are not as up and down as they were with humulin. Some people see no difference at all and I believe a few had to up the dosage when they changed. Overall, it is not a huge difference either way plus it always help to save a few dollars.
    Maggie - 15 1/2 y/o JRT diagnosed 9/2007, Angel status on 6/20/16. Her mantra was never give up but her body couldn't keep up with her spirit. Someday, baby.......

      Thank you all. That was exactly what I needed to know. I watch him like a hawk in any case so I will back off a bit with his dose and see what he does. He has been doing so well that I don't want to upset anything.
      Trooper age 12. Meds: Thyroxin .45 twice per day. Diabetes diagnosed Sept 2013. Starting Humulin dose 6 units 2 x day, now at 7u. Food: Home cooked chicken/turkey and veggies. Eggs/cottage cheese/salmon on occasion
